"The Actor" (Lead) - Non-plussed jobbing actor employed on corporate video shoot to play all the male roles in various genre set ups.
This was a series of corporate messages written around an improvised comedy script; the result being a high production value, comedy extravaganza that stays 'on message'. SEE THEM HERE.
Filmed in mockumentary style, the Risk Management training video shows the f'ilm within a film' scenario of a faux client and director shooting a corporate training video. Each message being set in a genre piece of film making. IE: The Sci-Fi / The Rom Com / The Arthouse / The Thriller / The Action.
I played an actor being used on the film within a film - it all became very confusing at times, but the results are great - also check out the faux movie posters for each genre piece in The Gallery.... Just a shame it wasn't for broadcast...!
Director: Jim Shields "Working with Jonathan was easy - he barely had sight of the script before we got to the studio, and despite this he took on everything we threw at him. Not just a jobbing actor, but creative and flexible in a way that gets to the point of what you're trying to do. Jonathan will fill the space allowed for him - which is great when the script's a little rough around the edges. He just gets on with it, just what you need when you're trying to hit a courier deadline at 4pm that day with a rushes tape, and the client watching..."
