Thanks to Elaine Murphy Associates, I have been seen for a crop of commercial castings since April and I have bagged two so far.

Commercial castings are a complete lottery for the actor and the hit rate is very low - there are so many factors involved and it's very different to being seen for a part in a film or TV or the theatre.  But it's great being seen for so many - it's very new for me, as before joining forces with my current agent, I was responsible for my own work and it's not easy to attract the attention of the casting directors without a decent agent.

So far I have won two commercial jobs, but as they were both shooting on the same day in different countries, I was only able to do one!  Typical.  My featured appearance on a Fruit Pastilles commercial was shown alongside the ITV show 'Britain's Got Talent'. Nice to have a little exposure to compliment the independent feature work I've been doing of late.
